On occassion, we get to restore woodwork that comes from lesser known manufacturers who obviously put their mark on automtotive history. Not only were these vehicles manufactured in very limited quantities, but many of them excelled in styling and performance.....and often, as a crowning touch, they included woodwork in their interiors ! |
Since our founding in 1982, we have had the opportunity to restore the woodwork from a few Bradley automobiles...but unfortunately, we do not have pictures of our work to post here....sorry. But please keep in mind, that if you have a Bradley, and the woodwork needs restoring, we are at your service. |

Above is a picture of a Bradley GT II. The Bradley GT was an all fiberglass bodied "kit car" with "gull wing" doors, based on the Volkswagen Beetle chassis. There were over 6000 GT''s manufactured in various forms of completion from the late 1960's thru 1981. Some were "turnkey" "factory built" and some were in full kit form. |

Above, is a picture of the most common set of Bradley GT woodwork. All instrumentation, including the Speedometer and Tachometer were in the center of the dashboard. Most if not all of these models also had a wooden glove compartment door. |

Above, is the same center dash panel from a set of Bradley GT woodwork. It appears as though the five lower cutouts were fitted with indicator lights behind a tinted plastic. It is very obvious in this picture, that even the dashboard structure was fiberglass. |

Here is that same Bradley GT center dash panel tilted out of position. As you can see, the Bradley GT woodwork appears to be about a quarter of an inch thick. If your parts are showing their age, we can duplicate your stock parts in the same wood species or if you want a different look, we can duplicate your stock parts in another wood type. |

Yes we know this picture is really "fuzzy", but it was the only picutre of Bradley GT woodwork we found, where the glove compartment door had the Bradley GT II nameplates on it. |
